These terms apply to bookings and travel services arranged by Sunset Tours & Safaris. Please read them carefully before confirming a safari, trekking trip, day trip or other travel service.
A booking becomes confirmed when Sunset Tours & Safaris accepts the reservation and any required deposit or payment has been received. Your itinerary, invoice, booking confirmation and any trip-specific conditions form part of the agreement between you and Sunset Tours & Safaris.
You are responsible for providing accurate information needed to arrange your trip, including names, travel dates, group details and any relevant requirements communicated to us.
You are also responsible for ensuring that you hold valid passports, visas, travel documents, vaccinations or other entry requirements applicable to your journey.
Prices are based on the services, group size, dates, accommodation and arrangements stated in your quotation or itinerary. A change in any of these details may result in a revised price.
Where government fees, park fees, taxes, fuel costs, supplier charges or other unavoidable costs change after quotation, we may need to adjust the price before final confirmation or where permitted under the booking agreement.
Payment instructions, deposit requirements and payment deadlines will be stated in your quotation, invoice or booking confirmation. Failure to make payment by an agreed deadline may result in the release or cancellation of reserved services.
Travel in Tanzania can be affected by weather, road conditions, wildlife movement, park regulations, flight schedules and other operational circumstances. We may adjust the order, timing or details of an itinerary where reasonably necessary while aiming to preserve the overall character and value of the trip.
Hotels, lodges, camps, airlines, transport providers, park authorities and other independent suppliers provide their services under their own operating conditions. We coordinate these services as part of your itinerary but cannot control every act or omission of an independent supplier.
Wildlife sightings, migration movements, weather conditions, summit success and other natural events cannot be guaranteed. Guides will use their knowledge and experience to provide the best possible experience, but nature remains unpredictable.
Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru and other trekking activities involve physical exertion, altitude and outdoor risks. Travellers are responsible for assessing their own suitability for the activity and for following reasonable safety instructions provided by guides and trip leaders.
Please inform us of any relevant dietary requirement, mobility issue or other circumstance that may affect arrangements or safety. Travellers should obtain appropriate medical advice before travel, particularly for high-altitude trekking or demanding activities.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance appropriate to your itinerary, including medical treatment, evacuation, cancellation, interruption, baggage and any adventure activities you plan to undertake.
Travellers are expected to follow reasonable instructions from guides, drivers, park authorities and accommodation staff. We reserve the right to take appropriate action where a traveller's behaviour creates a serious safety risk, disrupts the trip or violates applicable laws or park rules.
Cancellations, amendments and refunds are handled in accordance with our Cancellation Policy and any trip-specific terms included in your booking confirmation.
Travellers are responsible for their own personal belongings, travel documents, money and valuables. We recommend appropriate insurance for baggage and personal property.
We will not intentionally use identifiable customer photographs for marketing where consent is required without obtaining appropriate permission. If you prefer not to appear in photographs taken during a trip, please tell your guide or our team.
If a problem arises during your trip, please inform your guide or our office as soon as possible so that we have an opportunity to assist. If the matter is not resolved during the trip, please contact us in writing with the relevant details after travel.
We are responsible for arranging the services included in your confirmed booking with reasonable care. Our responsibility is subject to the nature of the service, applicable law, the actions of independent suppliers, and circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, park closures, civil disruption, transport disruption, epidemics or similar events.
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version applicable to a confirmed booking is the version provided or published at the time the booking is made, unless otherwise agreed.
