2-Day Tarangire & Ngorongoro Safari
A short escape with two very different wildlife landscapes.
Tarangire's baobab country and elephant habitats, followed by a descent into Ngorongoro Crater. A compact safari for travellers with limited time.
A lion pride in the afternoon light. Elephants beside a river. Time to watch a moment unfold. Take a private Tanzania safari with a local guide and a journey planned around your own party.

Your vehicle is for your own party. Travel with the people you choose, on the dates that suit you, with a guide who can get to know what interests you along the way.
Our two-, three- and four-day safari itineraries are a starting point for that conversation. We'll explain the parks, the overnight stops and the travel involved, then help you choose the journey that fits the time you have. Safari days are shaped by wildlife and park rules, but the planning starts with you.
Start with the parks you most want to see. Then compare the number of days, the accommodation and the pace that suits your party.

Three parks, with a comfortable Karatu base.
Add Lake Manyara's forest and lakeside scenery to Tarangire and Ngorongoro. Two nights at Farm of Dreams Lodge keep the safari based in Karatu.

Make room for the Serengeti plains.
Link Tarangire and Ngorongoro with two Serengeti nights and a full day to explore the plains. A fuller journey, with longer travel days to consider.

A safari is more than moving between parks. It is knowing when to wait, what to look for and how to make a long day on the road feel worthwhile.
Plan with a local guide whose experience helps turn your wish list into a journey that makes sense, with realistic driving days and time for the places you care about.
Tell us whether you love photography, elephants, birds or simply watching wildlife quietly. Your guide can work with your interests within the itinerary and park rules.

A private safari gives you space to enjoy the sightings, the road between parks and the company of a guide who brings local context to the day.

Tell us what draws you to Tanzania: elephants beneath the baobabs, big cats on the Serengeti plains or a first glimpse into Ngorongoro Crater. Your local guide will help you choose a journey that suits your interests, with time to enjoy the wildlife and the moments along the way.

Watch the light change. Follow a story along the road. A good safari leaves you with more than photographs - it leaves you with a connection to the place.
