Depart Arusha and head to Tarangire for a game drive and picnic lunch. Explore its baobab scenery and wildlife habitats before continuing to your Karatu accommodation for dinner and the night.

Leave early for Ngorongoro and descend into the crater for a wildlife drive. After your crater visit, continue through the conservation area towards the Serengeti. This is a full travel day, so the timing of the crater visit and onward drive will be planned carefully.

Take a packed lunch and spend the day exploring the Serengeti with your guide. Follow wildlife activity across the plains and return to your accommodation in the evening.

If timing allows, begin with an early morning game drive. Continue wildlife viewing on the route out of the park, then travel back to Arusha with your packed lunch. Expect a long return journey.
