Please be informed that you can climb Kilimanjaro at any time of the year as long as you are physically and mentally fit because climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro doesn’t require any technical expertise like other mountains in the world. The way Kilimanjaro affects a normal person who has no experience in athletics or mountaineering will also affect a very experienced athlete and climber if they are not mentally / psychologically fit and ready to climb the Kilimanjaro.

It is possible to climb Kilimanjaro year-round, however, the best time to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro is when there is a lower possibility of precipitation. The dry seasons are from the beginning of December through the beginning of March, and then from late June through the end of October. These are considered to be the best times to climb in terms of weather, and correspondingly are the busiest months (high season). However, climbing during the wet season is a vastly different experience than climbing during the dry season.

This is the generally expected climate during the different months but mountain weather is known to change rapidly. For more information on Kilimanjaro weather please visit https://www.mountain-forecast.com/peaks/Mount-Kilimanjaro-climbing-routes/forecasts/5895
